Dr Watt Sook May obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics from the National University of Singapore. During her undergraduate years, she was awarded the prestigious University Medal in her final professional examinations and received multiple academic medals for being the most outstanding student in Orthodontics, Preventive Dentistry and Dental Public Health, and Medicine. She was also placed on the Dean’s List for three consecutive years. Her Master’s thesis was recognised internationally, receiving the esteemed Athanasios E. Athanasiou Best Orthodontic Master’s Thesis Award by the World Federation of Orthodontics.

Dr Watt has served in both hospital and community settings within the public sector, providing comprehensive general and orthodontic care to patients of all ages - including children, patients with special needs, and the elderly.

Her postgraduate training in orthodontics equipped her with expertise in early interceptive and growth modification treatments for growing children, as well as surgical orthodontics for patients undergoing jaw surgery. She is proficient in a wide range of orthodontic techniques, from fixed appliances to clear aligners, and is a certified Invisalign and Brava lingual braces provider.

An active member of several professional bodies - including the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore), the World Federation of Orthodontics, and the Singapore Dental Association - Dr Watt remains committed to professional excellence and continuous learning.

Known for her friendly and caring demeanor, Dr Watt takes pride in building strong rapport with her patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles. Passionate about making quality dental care accessible, she has contributed to numerous community outreach initiatives both locally and abroad. In addition to being fluent in English and Chinese, she is also certified in the Korean language.

Outside the clinic, Dr Watt is dedicated to lifelong learning and delivering patient-centred care. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones.
