Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS)

All Tanglin Dental clinics accept CHAS, MG and PG cards for dental subsidies.

The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) provides eligible Singapore Citizens - including Pioneer Generation (PG) and Merdeka Generation (MG) cardholders — with subsidies for a wide range of dental treatments.

There are four CHAS cards that offer dental benefits:

  • CHAS Orange

  • CHAS Blue

  • Merdeka Generation (MG)

  • Pioneer Generation (PG)

CHAS subsidies help lower the cost of both preventive care (scaling and polishing, X-rays, consultations) and more complex dental treatments such as root canals, crowns, and dentures. Medisave

All Tanglin Dental clinics are Medisave accredited clinics.
Medisave is a national savings scheme under the Central Provident Fund (CPF) that helps Singaporeans pay for approved surgical treatments.

MediSave for Dental Treatment
MediSave can be used to partially or fully offset the cost of eligible surgical dental procedures for Singaporeans, PRs and their families.

The amount claimable depends on the type and complexity of the procedure, in accordance with Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.

Common MediSave-claimable dental treatments include:

  • Wisdom tooth surgery

  • Surgical extraction of teeth and retained roots

  • Dental implants

  • Gum surgery (periodontal surgery)

  • Crown lengthening procedures

(Update 2026) Seniors Can Now Use Flexi-MediSave for Root Canal Treatment and Permanent Crowns
Good news for senior patients.

From 1 June 2026, eligible Singapore Citizens aged 60 and above can use up to $400 per year from their Flexi-MediSave for selected dental treatments:

  • Root Canal Treatment

  • Permanent Crowns

This enhancement helps to reduce out-of-pocket costs and makes it more affordable for seniors to save and restore their natural teeth.

The CDC Voucher Scheme is a government initiative that helps Singaporean households with the cost of daily essentials and services. Eligible households receive digital vouchers that can be used at participating heartland shops, hawkers, and service providers.

Tanglin Dental is an approved CDC Vouchers merchant. CDC vouchers can be used to offset dental treatment fees at the following Tanglin Dental Clinics:

Baby Bonus Scheme is a national government support scheme that helps parents manage the costs of raising a child, through a combination of cash gifts and co-savings in a Child Development Account (CDA).

Tanglin Dental is a Baby Bonus Approved Institution. You can use your child’s CDA to pay for their dental treatment at any of our branches. Do bring your Baby Bonus NETS card.
