Dental Implants
Dental Implant
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jaw to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once healed, it supports a crown that looks and works like a natural tooth.
Cost: $3500 onwards, partially medisave claimable
Why do it?
Restores your smile and confidence
Lets you eat and speak comfortably
Prevents jawbone shrinkage after tooth loss
With proper care, implants can last many years and feel almost like your own teeth. Dental implants can also be partially claimed by your medisave.
Bone grafting
Sometimes, the jawbone is too thin or weak to hold an implant securely. A bone graft helps strengthen the area by adding special bone material to it. Over time, your body naturally fuses with this graft and creates a solid foundation.
This step makes sure your dental implant will be stable, long-lasting, and function just like a natural tooth.
Sinus Lift
The upper back jaw sometimes doesn’t have enough bone to hold a dental implant. A sinus lift is a procedure where we gently raise the sinus membrane and place bone material underneath it.
This creates more bone height, giving implants a strong and stable foundation.
